- July 2010 - Mark Stuchfield, a long time staunch supporter of CDRS, is cycling the Etape Du Tour in July to raise funds for CDRS. You can donate directly via Mark's JustGiving Page. Mark is cycling 212km in the Pyrenees up the mountains of Col de Marie-Blanque (1035m climb), Col du Soulor (1474m climb), and Col du Tourmalet (2115m climb). It should take him in the region of 10 hours and will be hard going, but a great achievement if he can do it.
Mark is covering all the costs of the trip himself - but if you would like to make a donation to the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society that would be greatly appreciated - all donations will go straight to the charity and funds are currently much needed to refurbish and build new kennels for the dogs.
- June 2010 - The annual cream teas event will be held as usual at Cholesbury Village hall on 22nd August 2010. Without a doubt this is our most popular event. Our complete range of giftware and Christmas goods will be available. After starting your Christmas shopping you will be able to sit down and enjoy our extensive range of delicious homemade cakes and scones.
- May 2010 - We are pleased to announce that on the 6th May 2010 the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society moved into its new premises. Please bear with us for a short while whilst we settle in, as we will be using temporary facilities until we build new ones and are also updating our web site. Please note our new address, email and web site details on our Contact Page which includes a map.
